When I had roses I cut them back in February and August and never had a problem. I just planted some petunias in an old fashioned metal dish sink out of a reastaurant. Thought it was ready to cool off, but alas they say 100 degrees Saturday. Paula
oh how beautiful! I don't have a green thumb what so ever and my husband wants us to plant rose bush around our new house lol if they are half as lovely as these ones I will be blessed lol.
well how about that. I was so mad when they cut those roses back. I didn't know they would do that if you cut them back in July. I'm going to try that next yr. with my rose bushes. I'm so happy now and am laughing at how mad I got lol

It takes a big man to admit his mistakes. I'm so glad that the roses returned; I guess the gardeners knew what they were doing!
Oh how beautiful:)
