One lime = ten cents

One lemon = twenty cents.  Lemon from bagged lemons =  twenty eight cents.  But the best buy was one lime = ten cents.

It was juicy and tart. I squeezed the juice into some ice water, not to make limade, but just to add a bit of taste to the tap water.  Then I turned the rind inside out and ate the lime.

Tell me, what can YOU buy for a dime?

  1. You ATE the lime?  Makes my mouth pucker just to think of it.  A bit of juice in the water is good, though.  I often do it with lemon.

Bargains?  A jar of my favorite pickle relish is on sale for $1.  I have a coupon for 50 cents off, which the store will double.  How much can you buy for $0.00?
