Night after nght, a group of us seniors meet after supper to play Rummy for about an hour.
We have taken the kids game,Rummuy, and simplified it so that even we seniors can cope with it.
Doesn't playing a kids' game night after night get boring>
Oh, my, Yes.
Why don't you suggest another game? Think they could follow you, LOL?

How do you dumb down rummy?
ReplyDeleteI used to love playing rummy with my friends and family members and cousins. I loved to play that. It's been close to 25 years or more since I played it though. Helen

ReplyDeleteI knew an elderly couple who played Yatzee for nickles. He had been part owner of a newspaper and she was his secretary. When their mates died they became companions and played this game every day. Paula
ReplyDeleteBeing in the company of friends must be nice, though. It's better than TV!! Try other games, too! Nice to see lots of photos in your journal, Chuck =)! Hugs a plenty! xox
