My first answer to "Gave up an academy award winning career to have an affair with an Italian film producer" was Sophia Loren, with Carlo Ponti, I think. Actually, it wasn't strictly an affair, since they married twice, but the Italian government and the Church were against it because he was divorced. She reduced the career for babies.
So anyway, how could you possibly leave out Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida when you mention glamour?
that was fun. I knew about half and at one time I bet I could have named them all. guess its not as important to me anymore :>)

Hope you have a Merry Christmas Love Joan
Merry Christmas! Very, very interesting. I just watched all of "Gone with the Wind" the other night. Couldn't sleep and it was on in the middle of the night. Four hours. I really liked it. It was on on a channel that had no commercials. I want to shoot the TV sometimes because it has so many commercials. So, I didn't know Nancy Reagan acted before she married. Interesting. So, hope you are having a nice Christmas. Happy 2008, my friend... xox LOVE YOU!! xox
