Unusual in the old folks' parking lot. Just because it is super modern and we residents are antique, this Honda Goldwing motorcycle and its Motogold trailer look out of place.
I wonder which resident hopes to ride this. More likely is was a grandson or daughter. Nice trailer... I wonder if it is a camper.
I saw some animal crossing the parking lot in the dusk. I chased it. It did not run away from me, but kept on its way. When I caught up with it, I saw it was a wind-blown McDonalds bag, dumped by a careless passer by. Well, It looked like a puppy or rabbit at first... in he dark.
Not in the parking lot, but nearby in the rose garden. Remember Twiggy, the rosebush we tracked all last year. Here she is in 2008, already bushed out and bearing the first two roses I have seen this year. Trust Twiggy, to be the first to bloom this year.

WAY COOL ADVENCHIE...I loved the bike, and you never know...one of my students went for a ride on her grandson's Gold Wing for her 85th birthday! He drove her around her mobile home park! She was thrilled!
That bike is certainly more equipped for a long haul than the one I rode on to Palm Springs for my honeymoon! A small box on the back...no way for a suitcase!

Nice pictures Chuck. Have a nice day.
Now that is some matched outfit. It looks like it might be a camper. LOL on chasing down the paper. Looks like Twiggy is on her way to a great start. Have a nice weekend Chuck. Helen

Wow that is a swell rig. Almost makes me wish I wasn't afraid of motorcycles. As for the stray bags around here they are all Wal*Mart bags, even in the trees. Paula
Boy, twiggly has really took off huh???

Hello Chuck,
A friend recommended I take a look at your blog - so here I am.
M own dear old grandad is now 99 years and 7 months old. He is in a nursing home but up until last year was doing very well in semi-sheltered accommodation. I visit him every week.
It's great to see you blogging - and showing that you're never too old to learn!
I can't believe twiggy is so big already. It must have been a good winter.

I can't believe you (apparently) didn't rescue that poor McDonald's bag, Chuck! It looked so lonely, all crumpled up on the grass. I've seen hundreds like it, helplessly blowing in the wind -- hoping, no doubt, that some good Samaritan will give it a proper home (if only in the nearest trash can).
It brings a tear to my eye to see the little fellow, dumped -- as you say -- by a careless passer by...
What a world, what a world!
