The richest man n the world according to Forbes Magazine is still, my idol, Bill Gates. I am glad. I am proud of him. We have a common interest: we both read and liked Carl and Jerry stories in Popular Electronics. That makes us soul brothers, in some small way.
But he is losing ground to a Mexican media Mogul who is only a few billion dollars behind him. Alas, Bill, go, go, go.
I am not sure I would want to be the richest man in the world, nor even the second richest. I could use a few bucks more to support my obsessions though.

Being on the top is a tough job, yep, we all can use more cash!
I couldn't imagin being so wealthy.. do you think ppl start to loose their grasp on reality after the first billion?? LOL
Much Love,
Mary
Yeah, I don't care too much for money 'cause money can't buy me love.
On the other hand, it probably would have been enough to at least RENT Anna Nicole which would have made me more famous than that Mexican Mogul you mention.
I guess money CAN buy fame -- at least of the 15 minute variety.
It seems as if the more I finally managed to store away for winter, the more it seemed I needed in order to have "enough." I suppose that's Bill's problem -- now that he and Melissa are committed to saving the world with Micro-Bucks, I imagine his desire for more will grow.
Ah, if money makes the world go around...Stop! I wanna get off.

PS I'm seeing a lot of "green" here in Oregon, but it's the beautiful, living kind, not festooned by dead presidents.

I think having too much money could be a pain but I would like to have enough to do something wild and foolish once. But you know what? I probably wouldn't. lol Paula
Hi Chuck - i would like more money, but only enough to keep my feet on the grounds of reality...... i am sure too much money brings its problems too.
