Proud as a Peacock

Pardon me while I spread my tail feathers and strut.  Angie, Guest Editor of Magic Smoke (<- LINK) this week paid me a wonderful compliment.

She said I was funny, to the point, and an inspiration. Whew, that is a load to carry and a lot to live up to. She said she found no whining here.  I guess she hasn't read my back issues... I whine plenty about my health, my age, and especially about my printer. And that doesn't even take into account my reports about AOL.

You can find a link to Angie's Journal there in Magic Smoke and links to her other recommendations

Thanks, Angie.  I think you're pretty neat yourself.

Nah, you don't whine Chuck. You have a very good outlook on life even when that printer is acting up. Congratulations on being one of the Guest Editor's Picks. Helen

I find you amazing and fascinating! When I grow up, I hope my husband is just like you so I can spin around the retirement community on wheels and play bingo with the group.  Now that's what I"m talkin about ;)

CONGRATULATIONS, G.G.!!  Nah, you don't whine... NOT like others around!  You can state that you are unhappy about something without whining.  That is YOU!!  You are the best, my friend!!  I agree with everything Angie wrote.  But you are my Grandfather.  LOL  So, keep on writing!!  I love you!!  Love, H.S. xox

Congrats on being Guest Editor pick! I'm going to bookmark you and come back and read more. For now, I'll just say that my Dad is 85 and also a WWII vet. He is one of my heroes, and I'd also like to thank you, sir, for your service. It's appreciated more than you know, and will never be forgotten.

All my best,
Beth
