No Discipline

I scold myself for my lack of self-discipline.  It is 3 am and I am in bed, when I think of something I want to edit in my journal.  I get out of bed, fire up the old Hewlett-Packard, and start working on the Journal.  But, tomorrow is the day that I get to sit in with my harmonica on George Loscalzo, our piano player at the old folks home. I need my rest.

That's not George in the picture there.  That is my son-in-law Roddy Jackson, and my grandson. They have played here too.

Lovely picture.  I always wanted to play the Harmonica, my mother had one when I was a child but somehow I never got around to it. I do play the electronic keyboard though. I will be doing something with the baby pictures in the next couple of days.  Being up at 3 a.m. is NOT good for you but I do it at times. Have a great day.

Heh.  Me, too.  When an idea hits the brain, though, it's probably best to just get up and deal with it.  Otherwise, either one loses the idea, or loses the drive to write it down, or lies awake thinking about it. - Karen

Hi Chuck, I`m new to your journal but have been told by Jeannette that you are well worth the read so I am going to put you on my alerts and call in and do just that.  Take care  Love  Sandra X

Fun photo...you might add that someday famous Grandson's name too...Adam Trelatsky.  Either Roddy or Adam can be googled for fun to find out how famous they are already.  Proud wife and mother, Kate
p.s. I get LOTS of ideas for paintings in the middle of the night...I scribble down a sketch and when I get up in the morning to look at it...I don't know WHAT THE HECK the idea was...LOL  Drawing in the dark could be a whole new art form!

I am going to google to check on your famous family!  I mean to ask you Chuck, is there on special memory that stands out for you from schoolteaching or funny moment or a special pupil.  If so, would love to read about it on your journal. xxx
