Tempramental Printers

I don't understand printers.  Now my printer is in a snit.

My old printer would go berserk if you tried to cancel a printing order. It wouldn't work if you stopped a page while it was working on it.  Instead it would run reams of paper printing one line of gibberish on each page, thus spoiling it for any use except scratch paper.

Now the new printer goes on strike if you let it run out of paper. At least the old printer would stop and wait for more paper. This one goes bananas and wont do ANYTHING even though you have restocked the paper supply.

What makes these machines so human? They get their feelings hurt, and they are not fit for anything.

On television last night I saw a lady hurl a printer off a second floor balcony. It did my heart good.  I know just how she felt.

Later.  I got it going and ordered one copy of a document.  It gave me FIVE, of the WRONG DOCUMENT.

yes it sounds like my printer..... I threw one away and now this one is better.... a bit better that is. this one talks to me and usually listens when I say something to it.... not always though as there are always things waiting to be printed after I cancel them. What shall we do?

LOL  Printers are such a joy aren't they!  Mine hates to be canceled, and it will start spitting out papers.  At least when it does, it's not printing anything so I can still use the paper later.  Tempermental printer!

For some reason, my almost new printer/scanner/copier/fax insists on printing some things at three times their normal size.  I can't figure out why.

Have a good holiday or a Merry Christmas.  Or both.

I hate printers myself!! At school, on one of the most important programs my computer is linked to the copy machine in the hallway. I have requested several pages of information I have to turn in, but it refuses to print. I will NOT shove the thing out a 2 story window since it probably costs more than a years salary, but I never said I wouldn't kick the snot out of it!!

Good luck with yours!
