Dell Laptop -- first entry

This  is my first stumbling entry from my new Dell laptop. Thanks to those of you who said I could do it.

Oh, how I stumble on the flat keyboard.  Oh, how I hate the touch plate instead of the mouse.

But progress is progress, no matter how much strain it is on nerves.

Place on the learning curve: still on the steep  uphill clamber.

You can get a mouse that's designed to use with a laptop.  It's a little smaller to be less of a drain on the battery, but it's still a mouse!

And I knew you ciuld do it! :)

I've never used a flat keyboard or a plate for a mouse either.  I'm sure it would be very frustrating for me too.  I have no doubt you'll get the hang of it in no time at all.  Enjoy your new toy!!!!

I'm using my laptop almost exclusively and I love the touch pad most of the time.  I was looking the other day and they have a wireless mouse that might just work for you - made to use with the laptop.  Sometimes the flat keyboard drives me crazy too, but the advantages of having a laptop outweigh my frustrations. As much as I love my laptop... and I DO!... I gotta say that I do prefer using my little mouse instead of the touchplate. I mean, the touchplate is fine in a pinch, but if I'm going to be spending any time doing things... I WANT my mouse <LOL>

Good for you, I knew you could do it!

I suppose you can't find a way to hook up the mouse on that thing either... but then it's supposed to be good for the brain to do new things isn't it... have fun, Sandra

Another technology which I take it is wireless?    Enjoy your new investment and hope it brings years of service without problems.   mark
