Slod Day at the Old Folks Home

What do we do on a slow day at the old folks home?

Go down to the corner and read the time/temperature sign, and then count the cars crossing the corner of M and Olive.

Ho Hum.

The temperature today was 100.

In two minutes, 200 cars crossed the interesection.

What is new where you live?

Nice and cool in the movie theater, and looking at all the ICE of the South Pole, it was very refreshing...and a GREAT movie...March of the Penguins.
Just a little bit past your corner!

A flooded carpet here. No fun at all. Paula

Hot and humid outside, air conditioned inside, must stay in due to chest pain and SOB in super heated humidity. No more than 25 vehicles down our dead end road, and that includes the 4 garbage trucks, the Cable Guy, and (oh the excitement!) a lost HUGE moving van whose driver was unhappy to discover there is no room for turning around at the end of the road. Several children came out to watch him back back up the hill! Margo

I think it was 100 here also.  And SO humid.  Probably 200 cars passed at the intersection also, but I was inside sitting in the a/c instead of outside counting, lol.  What possessed you???  I wasn't THAT bored, lol.  Nothing new here, except tomorrow (Saturday) John, Val, and I are going to an American Cancer Society Conference.  Hope you find something interesting to do besides count cars in the heat.  Well have fun and bye for now, love,

Krissy

No clue what the weather was like outside here, today. I stayed IN. Central air is the best. 72 in my house, all day, every day. Nice. :-)

Whew - that sure is hot. It's hot and muggy here all the time, but it's "only" been in the low 90's here lately. ~ Lori
