I Promised You a Rose Garden for Halloween

It has been a while since you've seen Twiggy, "our rose bush".  Here she is, in the last week of October.  Still has two blossems, and maybe even some buds.  It is almost time for the roses to be trimmed back.  We have been following Twiggy's growth since last February.

That bush has really bloomed a lot after getting a slower start than the others. The flowers are beautiful. Helen

I have a few roses yet here. I guess they like fall weather too after they are established in the summer. Its beautiful here in Wisconsin but its been getting really cold at night so it won't last much longer Im afraid

That bush's progress has taken the same span as my trip to the east coast and back.

I wonder if She'll still have something to show when I return to Merced in February... Only in California.
