Patrick's Sunday Seven, exactly a week late:
Name seven things a fourth of July picnic shouldn't be without.
1. Watermelon.
2, Spare rubs
3. Corn on the cob
4. Fireworks at the city park or fair ground
5. A terrified dog to tranquilize, pamper, pet, and coddle.
6. Beer
7. Coca cola, preferably with a little some thing to spike it up with after the sun goes down "past the yard arm"

You know, Chuck, there used to be a place, down on Hollywood and Vine, that gave the best spare rubs around ... if things weren't too busy, the girls could be convinced to massage more than your back, too.
