Toolbar Erased AGAIN

AOL knows about it  Why can't they fix it?  My toolbar has been erased...AGAIN.

Our DVR is on the fritz, so our fav shows we record to watch together were not recorded.  sob sob  Guess I have to read a book.

Even if you decide to keep AOL as your ISP (service provider), you are NOT required to use their homepage (including the toolbar).

You can simply leave AOL running in one window and open Internet Explorer or another BROWSER in another window and use that as your homebase while online.

You don't even have to use aol mail and you certainly don't need to use the aol blog application (though you'd have to change the URL (web address) if you changed over to Google's Blogger (for example).

One major benefit of not using so many AOL features is that should you ever decide to leave them for another ISP, most of the stuff you have set up for Internet will be unaffected by your new non-member status...

In short, you may decide to remain "from" AOL, but you don't need to be "of" AOL.

I know I wouldn't...
